Cecilia Martha Abeyta

Cecilia Martha Abeyta, 76 of El Paso, Texas passed away on May 23, 2022. She was born in El Paso, Texas on September 10, 1945, graduated from Austin High School. She worked for the Federal Reserve Bank for over 30 years. After retiring from the bank, she worked at Sunland Park Art Gallery for numerous years. She attended St. Matthew’s Catholic Church and was a Eucharist Minister for many years. She loved to paint and was a wonderful artist. Her favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys, the Chihuahua’s, and a beer to go with them. She had many friends on Facebook and at work that will dearly miss her. A wonderful sister, aunt and great aunt. She is preceded in death by her parents Carlos and Magdalena Abeyta and her twin brother. Survived by her sister Corinne Abeyta Spinnler, brother Carlos Abeyta, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 400 W. Sunset Rd., El Paso, TX 79922. Inurnment will follow at 12:00 pm at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
