Catherine P. Tate, 85, passed away, Sunday, September 21, 2014. A longtime resident of El Paso, TX she was born to the late Ethel Louise Pearson and Jimmie Lee Leslie of Huntsville, AL. A remarkable woman called Mom by many and loved by all. Her green thumb and love of roses was enjoyed by those sitting in her beautiful gardens. She is survived by her daughters Burnetta Tate of Laguna Beach, CA; Bonita Tate and Brenda Tate, both of El Paso, TX; granddaughter, Maleah Tate. Catherine is preceded in death by husband Marshall; daughter Bridgette; sons Kenneth and Kelvin; brother, James Arthur Pulley. Viewing, Sunday, Sept. 28 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Central; Funeral Service, Monday, Sept. 29 at Center Chapel, Ft. Bliss, TX at 11:30 a.m.; Burial to follow at 1:00 p.m. Ft. Bliss National Cemetery.
