Catherine Mercies Acuña, age 71, of El Paso, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Catherine was born March 11, 1950 in El Paso, Texas. She was a graduate of Austin High School and Durham Business College.
Catherine was preceded in death by her father David Acuña Jr., mother Horalia Vargas Acuña, brothers David Acuña III and Michael Acuña, and sister Patricia Acuña.
Catherine is survived by her loving family; brothers Louie Acuña, James Acuña and, sister Mary F. Acuña. Also three sister in laws; Debbie Acuna, Jerie Acuna, and Clarissa Acuna. Three nephews, Three nieces and one step nephew. Catherine Mercies was a devoted Catholic and will be forever greatly loved and missed
Visitation for Catherine will be held Sunday, November 21, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, with Rosary at 5:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral mass will be Monday, November 22, at 9:00am at St Joseph Catholic Church, 3729 Hueco Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79903. Committal service will follow mass at 10:30am at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79915.
