Carmen Valdez, age 80, of El Paso, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Carmen is survived by her husband, Carlos Valdez Jr.; her sons Carlos Valdez III, Gabriel Valdez, and Christopher Valdez; her daughters Bonnie Lemus and Cynthia Tafoya; her brother Pete Monreal, and her sisters Marty Montoya and Bonnie Garcia. She leaves to cherish her memory nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Visitation for Carmen will be held Monday, April 3, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with Rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer Street, El Paso, Texas 79904. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9025 Diana Dr., El Paso, Texas 79904. Committal service will follow Tuesday at 12:30 PM at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 8700 Dyer Street, El Paso, Texas 79904.
