She was born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, October 6, 1932.Her dream was to be married and have a family. She was devoted to her husband Heriberto. Her resilience and love allowed her and her husband to raise three children who flourished in their adult lives. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. Her smile attracted people to her and her laugh was contagious.
Carmen is preceded in death by her husband Heriberto and grandson Adrian Samaniego. She is loved and greatly missed by her children, Lilia Lenhart (Robert), Irma Alvarado, Gerry Alvarado; grandchildren, Paul Lenhart (Blanka), Clarisa Lenhart, Adam Samaniego (Emily); great-grandchildren, Cecilia Samaniego, Evelyn Samaniego, and many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil at 6:00 PM at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79936. Memorial mass will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar Rd, El Paso, Texas 79925. An inurnment will be Friday, January 19, 2024 at 9:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, Texas 79906.
