Our dear mother Carlota Z. Gonzalez (Caly) 91 has passed away and is now with our Lord April 7, 2020 in El Paso. She was a born in Madrid, New Mexico June 24, 1928, lived in Juarez until she married my dad on February 6, 1949, moved to El Paso and had lived here since then. Caly was a member of the Catholic Church. Caly worked for Billy the Kid 35 years as a Supervisor. She is preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Francisca Zamarripa, husband Blas E. Gonzalez, son Blas E. Gonzalez Jr., daughter Ruth Saenz, grandsons Alexis Olivares and Gabriel Lopez. She is survived by her daughter Irma Olivares (Hector), Nancy Lopez (Richard), brothers Andres Zamarripa, Juan Zamarripa and Hector Zamarripa and 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Caly was involved with organizing functions for La Amistad of a group of ladies whom she worked. Caly was very dedicated to her family and work. Caly and Blas traveled a lot together and attended many functions with their many friends.
