Becky Lopez

Our Lord Jesus Christ has called his daughter Becky Lopez home on June 5, 2016. She was an active and longtime member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church and San Lorenzo Catholic Church. Becky graduated from Ysleta High School, retired as an office administrator to Dr. Adrian Grass after 22 years, served as a liaison for an El Paso Texas State Representative, Secretary of Marriage & Family Life at the Dioceses of El Paso, office administrator with IBEW 583 and Precinct Chairperson for the Democatic Party. She volunteered at the Ysleta YWCA and proudly served on the Board. She is preceded in death by her son Armando (Mandito) Lopez II and brother Ruben. She is survived by husband Armando Lopez of 53 years, daughter Vivian Ann Appleby, son-in-law Steven Appleby of Chico, CA, son Daniel Mark Lopez, daughter-in-law Molly Moss of Renton, WA. She leaves a legacy of love, laughter and unforgettable memories to her grandsons Jackson and Luke Appleby, Julian, Leo and Rey Lopez. She is survivied by her siblings Bertha, Corine, Joe, Edward, Ida, Thomas, Norma, Mary Francis, David, and Sandra. Brothers in law Raul (Sophie), Gustavo (Lupe), Manuel (Cathy), Jaime (his daughters) and her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation: Thursday, June 9th from 5-8pm with a Vigil at 7pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina. Funeral Mass: Friday, June 10th at 10am at San Lorenzo Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
