He grew up in central El Paso, was a Jefferson High School Graduate, attended UTEP, NMSU, and UT Austin. Tony proudly served his country, becoming part of the Air Force, one of his greatest accomplishments. Dr. Juarez was an amazing educator, dedicating more than 25 years teaching Psychology at El Paso Community College. During the same time Tony was a therapist, impacting many people’s lives positively.
No one who met Tony can forget his contagious sense of humor, his infectious passion for music, art, martial arts and teaching. He lived life to the fullest enjoying life’s simple pleasures. He had a charitable heart and always was ready to help when life presented any challenge.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Carol, son Josh and numerous close friends and colleagues who lives he touched with his loving and kind nature.
A celebration of his life and burial will take place at Fort Bliss Cemetery October 2, 2023, at 1pm. Anyone that would like to attend is welcome.
