Ann G. Rogers, 70, a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas and a proud El Paso High Tiger, class of 1970 passed away September 8, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband; Steven Rogers, sisters; Helen Alice Carreon Armendariz (Ruben), Christine Guzman (Fernie), brother; Luis Carreon, godson’s; Officer Paul Armendariz and Cody Rios.
She worked at El Paso Natural Gas from 1973 thru 1996. After EPNG Ann started working for Helen of Troy, while at the same time attending El Paso Community College. During this time Ann met and married her current husband, Steve Rogers. After graduating from EPCC she worked as a Diet Technician. In 2003 Ann went to work for AgriLIFE Extension thru the Texas A&M System as a Nutrition Education Associate. She found this job the most fulfilling of her work career. She presented nutrition classes to elementary and middle school students in the Ysleta, Socorro, Clint, Fabens, and El Paso school districts. Ann looked forward to going to work each morning when she had a class to present. Ann retired from AgriLIFE in 2012. During the past 20 years Ann traveled the world with her Soulmate Steve, each year bringing a new pin in the map and experiences to treasure. It was a life rich and well lived.
