On Friday, December 2, 2022 Anita Sifuentes Gomez, 83, reunited with her parents Samuel Blanco Sifuentes and Juana Saucedo Sifuentes. Anita was born on July 30, 1939 and was a lifelong resident of El Paso.
She was a Baton twirler with the Bowie High School marching band and graduated in 1957. Anita worked and retired from Weaver Scope Company.
Anita had a passion for cooking, baking and she loved to travel. She was a true sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team.
Anita married Pedro Gomez Jr. on October 12, 2001.
She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years Pedro Gomez Jr., Stepsons Jose Emilio Gomez and Robert Gomez; Six grandchildren; Sister Alicia Duran and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a vigil service to begin at 6:00 pm at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 N. Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79936. Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 10:00 am at San Antonio Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr. El Paso, Texas. 79915. Chris Rosales, Jesus Duran Jr., Gilberto Rosales Jr., Ivan Duran, Steve Duran, and Roberto Gomez will serve as pallbearers. Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
