Anita A. Guerrero

Anita was born on January 2, 1927 in El Paso Texas. She grew up in Segundo Barrio attending Aoy school and graduated from Bowie High School in 1945. Upon graduating she worked at The Popular Department store. She was a housewife for many years and later in life she started volunteering at St. Pius X Catholic School where she eventually worked as an aide at St. Pius X Catholic School. In 2007 she received the SEED Award.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband Ramon C. Guerrero and her parents Refugio and Petra G. Aguilar and her siblings Rafael,Celia,Nicolas,Lorenzo,Lorenza and Jesus Aguilar.

Anita is survived by her daughters Sally Baca(Humberto) Bonnie Guerrero, Susie Quintela(Al) and Veronica Valverde(Ed) and her brothers Refugio and Armando Aguilar. Anita is also survived by her grandchildren Adrian,Nicholas and Roby Quintela, Rebekah Guerrero and Jason Borunda.

We would like to thank 1st Choice Hospice especially Belinda Stewart RN and Lilliana Dominguez CNA.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 27th for immediate family only at Funeraria Del Angel (Martin Central), 3839 Montana, El Paso,Texas. Interment will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions,services will be limited.
