It is with profound sadness that the family of Anita Galvan, age 68, announce that passed on to be with the lord early Tuesday morning September 1, 2020 at UMC Hospital. Anita Galvan will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years, Arturo Galvan, her daughters Lisa Orozco and Cynthia Yruegas, Step Daughter Rosalinda Galvan, and stepsons Arturo Galvan Jr. and Daniel Galvan. Anita was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her mother Esperanza Thompson, Step father William Thompson, her beloved sister Lina Acosta, and Brother Van Thompson, and her dogs coco and jasmine as well as numerous family members and dear friends.
She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. Anita worked at the Texas Department of Human Services for the last 8 years. The family would like to thank and give their deepest gratitude to the staff at UMC for their care and compassion while carrying for Anita in her final moments.
A Memorial Service will be held at Crestview Funeral Home September 19th 2020 at 12 p.m.
