Alicia Aldana age 86, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2019. Alicia was born on September 1, 1933, daughter of Salvador Ballinas and Leanor Morales, in El Paso, Texas. She was preceded to heaven by her mother and father and by her brother Salvador Jr. She will be missed by her stepbrother Joaquin and stepsister Beatriz. Alicia was united in holy matrimony to her teenage sweetheart, Manuel Aldana for a glorious marriage of over 55 years. Manuel preceded her to heaven on February 24, 2013.
Alicia dedicated her life to her husband and four children; Dolores, Manny, Maggie, and Gracie. Alicia never said “no” when her family needed her; from babysitting her grandchildren at a moment’s notice or providing her loving support during difficult times for her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Alicia’s hands were rarely still. When her children were young, she loved making handmade flour tortillas with every delicious dinner. Alicia also loved to make beautiful arts and crafts for her family and friends. She never tired of keeping her home immaculately clean. Mom was very compassionate about helping others and how she gave herself unconditionally. Some of her most enjoyable moments were going dancing with her husband and passionately watching Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs games with him on television.
Her beautiful life will be cherished in the lives of her 10 grandchildren; Albert, Leslie, Jennifer, Jackie, Christina, Alexa, Angel, Liza, Marcus, and Myranda. Alicia’s life was also blessed with 11 great-grandchildren; Alexzandria, Jayden, Daniel, Logan, Jett, Gavin, Aubree, Kaia, Collins, Anthony, and Remy.
Most dearly, she was blessed with Cesar, “Grandma’s loving Care Dog who always stayed by her side”.
Our Lord God has now fulfilled his plan for her on Earth and rejoicing with her presence in Heaven.
