The sun set on the Beautiful Life of our beloved Addie Marie Johnson-Watson affectionately known as "Super Chicken" on April 27th 2023, in El Paso Texas, at the age of 87.
Addie was born on February the 14, 1936, in Clarksdale, Missouri to the late Irene Ross in Lewis (Louis) C. Johnson Sr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr Sterling Watson. Three Sons: Rudolph Hudson, Larry Hudson and Daniel Hudson. Eight siblings: Howard Ross, Merry Johnson, Lewis (Louis) Johnson Jr., Elmer Guy Johnson, Richard Johnson, Gladys Johnson- Wilson, Homer (Mae) Johnson, Betty Johnson-Quinn, and Edward Hudson.
Addie is survived by five children: Terry (OK) Hudson, (David) Irene Rainey, Henry Williams, Linda Hudson and Kathy Watson. Ten grandchildren: Taurus (Stephanie) Hudson, Jesse (Carleniece) Coleman, Lavanjanique Love, Brianica Reynolds, Whitney (Ojvid) Bredland, Murika West, LaTara West, Niavasha Slade, Jakoby Watson and Costina Jurca- Moorer. Fourteen great-grandchildren one great great grandchild one brother Mr. Lawrence (Jacquline) Johnson, one Nephew/Brother: Mr. Earl Scott and a host of nephews, nieces, and Friends.
Addie was a dedicated and faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Liberal Kansas. She loved Jehovah and loved sharing his word.
Addie attended the Tulsa public schools in Tulsa Oklahoma and went on to become a dietitian, Certified Medication Aide, Fabricator, Beef Grader and Cashier.
She loved singing, dancing, traveling, and shopping. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She had an infectious smile and forgiving spirit which were her trademarks. She had a heart full of love and deeply cared for everyone she met is if they were her own family.
Visitation for Addie will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM followed by a Service at 11:00 AM at Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N Resler Dr, El Paso, Texas 79912.
