Born February 9, 1950 in El Dorado, he was the son of Thomas Robert and Vallie Owens Leveritt. Harold served his community as first a patrolman and later as detective with the El Dorado Police Department. He then began a lifelong career of drafting and designing. He had been a senior designing specialist for the past six years with Ford, Bacon, & Davis Engineering of West Monroe. The best parts of Harold’s life were spent with his wife, of thirty years, family and rooting for the Razorbacks with his hog hat on. Harold and family had attended St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Preceding him in death along with his parents were two brothers, Calvin Leveritt and Alfred Leveritt.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Leveritt of West Monroe, two daughters, Brandy Arlotta (Bill) of Jacksonville, Florida and Leanna Leveritt of West Monroe, LA. Also surviving are his sisters-in-law, Taiko Leveritt of El Dorado and Betty Leveritt of Wichita Falls, TX. Harold had a special place in his heart for each and every niece and nephew, sometime spending many hours for or with them, only to see their smile.
