She was born December 28, 1933, to Larkin and Delta Haynie Cox in Prescott, AR. Carolyn was a retired florist and was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death are her parents; daughter, Kayce Amanda Hobbs, husbands, Allen Otto Hobbs, and Vernon Nicholson, son, Randall Hobbs; and eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her children, Chrysti Hobbs of Strong, AR, Petie Cobb of Rogers, AR, Danny Hobbs and Drew Hobbs both of El Dorado; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Larry Parks officiating. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
