Benny was owner and operator of H & N Oil Well Cementing Company for many years. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarenes. He loved his God, his family, the oil field and music. He was a musician and had his own band.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, of 65 years, Sharon Shelton; sons, Marty, Kenny (Chandra), and Bobby Shelton, all of El Dorado; grandson, David Shelton, of El Dorado; granddaughter, Karli Murph (Schuyler) of Village, Arkansas and sister Doris Rist of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Young’s Funeral Directors.
A Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 16 at Rest Haven Memorial Garden with Rev. Jerry Welch officiating under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
