Rosario Montes

Rosario immigrated to Holtville, CA in 1963 and married the love of his life Celia Silva on January 7, 1968. They were married for 52 years and had four children. Rosario was a very hard worker. He supported his family as a Truck driver. He retired from Bull Enterprises Inc. in 2004.

Rosario was very active in the community and held several board member positions in Holtville’s Active 20-30 Club and Clinicas de Salud del Pueblo. He loved playing Golf with his friends and loved the Dodgers and the Chargers. He loved to barbeque, drink wine, read and hang out with his Wango Club.

Rosario is survived by his wife Celia Montes and Children ( Daughter: Norma Figueroa, husband Rigo Figueroa), (Son: Jose R. Montes, wife Angelica Montes) (Son: Ricardo Montes, wife Vicki Montes) (Daughter: Laura Montes RIP)

Grandchildren: Adam Montes, Clarissa Montes, Adrian Figueroa, Anthony Figueroa, Christopher Montes

Siblings Gloria Alicia Lopez, Gregoria Lopez, Cristina Montes, Francisco Montes, Delfina Martinez, Elena Cordova and many nieces, nephews and friends.
