February 2,1936 to October 26, 2015
Patricia “Rusty” Clark passed away peacefully on October 26, 2015. She was born on February 27, 1936 in Chicago, Ill, but lived most of her life in San Diego, CA. She got the name Rusty when she was a child from her father because of her read hair. She graduated from Cathedral Girl High School in 1954. For a short time in 1955 she joined a roller-derby training school and became a “San Diego Clipper”. She rode Harley Davidson’s in her younger days, did some professional singing along with making a living as a waitress; line worker; shipping & receiving clerk and final settle as a receptionist at Sharp Hospital. She was a loyal San Diego Charges fan and loved watching the games. She loved to read and work cross word puzzles. She was very scheduled in her way of living from eating at a certain time to every object in her house having its own special place. She had a great memory with some fascinating stories about life. Plus she could spell any word in the dictionary if you asked her too. She loved listening to oldies music while cleaning house and was very independent in her ways. A strong, wise, independent woman to look up too with a kind open heart for those who needed her.
She will be missed by her family and friends and to all of those who loved her, when you see a “smiley face” think of her and know she’s smiling down on you.
