a spring day like today, Patricia was born
to Grace and William Brown Jr. Being the Middle child
of five siblings, she was always at the center of
the bunch. In case you didn’t know, Pat was
a real quick wit and prankster. She grew up in
Duluth, MN on Raleigh St. and graduated from
Denfeld High school. But most of all, she was raised
in the church and built a life-long relationship with
Jesus Christ. Whenever the church doors opened,
her family was there singing, teaching sunday school,
leading, In 1979, Patricia moved to San Diego
to be closer to her sister, Deborah, and family. It was
time for a fresh start, marriage and the birth of her
one and only, D’Andre. They were inseparable from
conception and remain so to this day. Pat made sure
that D’Andre was surrounded by safe and godly people
growing up, Patricia and Deborah invested years in
services for the less fortunate through food and other
housing resources. Such ministries include:
“Light House of Hope” At The Anchor San Diego
Pastor James N. Larson,
She left a legacy for her son as well as others
to continue. Pat, or affectionately known as “ChurchLady,”
was an exquisite artist and would make cards or pages
with a word of encouragement. You could call her
and she would listen. And without fail, she would
give you some sound, bible-based words of wisdom.
She made friends for life, never burned bridges...
She loved Jesus...She Loved us all...She’s at peace.
