Tom was born in Devil’s Lake, North Dakota to Lawrence and Sue Moore and was one of 8 siblings. He attended school at North Dakota University and was then drafted into the military where he fought in the Korean War in the Artillery unit. After his service was complete he then married the love of his life Juline (Judy) and had four daughters. Tom was a well-known insurance agent and went on to own his own Insurance business for 45 years. Tom will be remembered as a kind and loving family man, with a contagious smile that lit up a room. He enjoyed visiting with friends and family, playing golf, reading and learning about history and science and will always be known to his family as a man of stories with history behind them.
Tom is survived by his wife, Juline (Judy) Moore; his daughter Christine Moore of Alpine, California; his daughter Diana Junge (Roger) of El Cajon, California; his daughter Susan Geyer (David) of Anacortes, Washington; and his daughter Anita Peterson (David) of Encinitas, California; his brother Louie Moore of Billings, Montana, his brother Duane Moore (Vonnie) and his brother Mark Moore (Nancy) of Madison, Wisconsin. As well as 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his sister Marlys Moore; his brother Jerome Moore; his sister Barbara Moore and his brother Father Patrick Moore.
