Elizabeth Ellen Reilly

Liz was born to Bessie Louise (Heaton) Williams and Willard Williams on December 6, 1944. Born into a large family with five brothers and one sister, she loved people and loved her family. An El Cajon native, Liz was very social throughout her youth, joining clubs, playing tennis, and having many, many friends.

Through a journey of self discovery, Liz found herself drawn to the Catholic church where she made friends and joined the church choir. At Holy Trinity Catholic Church in El Cajon, she met the love of her life, William Eugene Reilly, Jr. Liz and Bill enjoyed singing together, participating in the dance club, and had an easy chemistry and love that made them soul mates. They were married for 56 years before Bill's passing in 2023. Together, Liz and Bill had 5 children, Timothy, William III, Cathleen (Thomas), Patrick, and Tamara (Kyle).

Liz's love for her family only grew as time went on. After she retired, Liz helped to raise her five grandchildren, Caitlyn, Cassidy, Courtney, Camryn, and Reilly, who loved every second they could get with her.

Never one to turn away an opportunity to help, Liz's life's purpose was to serve others. She helped those who needed her without question and offered all of herself to those who truly needed her. Her generous heart was a great source of admiration and inspiration for everyone she touched.

Liz was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed every day by all those who knew and loved her.
