Annie Farr

On April 4, 2019 our beloved Ann Mae Farr left this earth to find eternal peace in heaven. Born in Detroit, Michigan on May 23, 1949, and a longtime resident of La Mesa, California she leaves behind many amazing friendships and beautiful family. “Annie” graduated from Monte Vista High School in 1967 as a proud Monarch and attended Grossmont College. She was a dedicated Travel Agent at Rainbow Travel for the last 26 years and Real Estate Agent for San Terra Properties. She is well known for the beautiful friendships she cultivated through her endeavors and travels. However, her greatest joy and pride came from being a mom and grandma.

Annie leaves behind to cherish her loving memories, her life partner Harry; Her Children Tina, Steve, and Nick. Son in law Chris and Daughter in law Kaitlyn. Her 96-year-old father Hank Sr. and siblings, Hank, Paul and JoAnn. Her Sister in laws Kathy and Pam and her Brother in law Steve. Her 4 Grandchildren; Jacob (14), Bailey (11), Presley (6), and Maddon (3). She was preceded in death by her mother, Angela, who we know was there to welcome her home.

At age 69, Annie lost her 10-year battle to a debilitating disease called amyloidosis with so much strength and grace. She was the epitome of the phrase, “Never give up”. Every day this organization provides education, and through their efforts and research, we pray that one day Annie’s dream of a cure will come true!
