Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her son, Doug (Shelley) Bogda; daughter, Joann Evans; and four grandchildren, Nicole Bogda, Logan, Jamie and Tracy Evans. She will also be missed by her sister, Phyllis, many extended family members, friends and nursing classmates.
Shirley was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Daniel; son-in-law, Rob Evans; father, Clarence; mother, Vera, and brothers, Joe and Bob Montgomery.
A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Devonshire Care Centre for their kind and compassionate care during Shirley’s residency there.
A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held on Monday, January 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810 34 Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, 20 Eglinton Avenue West, 16th Floor Toronto, Ontario M4R 1K8 or to a charity of one’s choice.
