It's with sadness that the family shares the sudden passing of Ryerson Morley Christie on August 17, 2023.
Ryerson is survived by his loving wife, Susan; son, Mathew (Trina), daughter, Karen (Stephen) and son, Johnnie (Juan Juan); grandchildren, Jacob, Tiffany, Johnnie and great-grandchild, Grace.
Ryerson was a proud Forester. He graduated from Forestry at NAIT in 1968 and the University of Alberta in 1974, and worked for the Alberta, Yukon and Canadian Governments. While his career was important, Ryerson's service above self and commitment to his family and friends were always his first priority.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Millwoods Community Church (2304 - 38 Street NW, Edmonton, AB). In lieu of flowers, donations in Ryerson's name can be made to the Rotary Foundation, the Canadian Moravian Church, or the Millwoods Community Church.
