Shortly after celebrating her 90th birthday with her family, Doreen passed away peacefully on August 30, 2019 at Alpine Summit Seniors Lodge in
Jasper, Alberta.
She will be reunited with George, her husband of over 50 years who predeceased her 2002. Much loved, she is survived by her 2 children, Joel (Zsuzanna, sons; Matthew& Michael) and Janet Wells (husband Mike and daughters; (Lara & Marissa).
She will also be much missed by her brothers Harold Brownell (wife May, predeceased) and Ronald Brownell (wife Margaret) and her many nieces & nephews and their families.
As per her wishes, Doreen has been cremated.
In lieu of flowers, Doreen requested that you make a donation to either the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the S.P.C.A.
