Entered into rest peacefully at St.Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital in Edmonton on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Joan (nee Hudson) in 2002.
Loving father to Todd (Marilyn) of Bobcaygeon,ON and Jeff (Tanis)of Edmonton. Cherished grandpa to Jason(Stephanie)Armstrong and Stephanie(Dustin) Childs all of Ontario; dear great-grandfather of Rory Childs and Nash Armstrong. He was known as grandpa Joe to many extended family in Ontario. Also survived by his sister, Joan Herzog of Ontario and lovingly remembered by cherished friend, Marg Evans. Joe will be sadly missed by all who knew and remembered him as a kind and gentle man.
