The very rarity of this cancer was a testament to the unique challenges he faced. In a medical landscape where few cases exist, a lack of established treatment protocols made his battle even more uphill.

Amidst these daunting circumstances, Joon's spirit remained indomitable. His strength and determination shone through every step of his journey. With relentless resolve, he confronted his diagnosis, demonstrating a level of courage that was both inspiring and humbling. He carried his battles with a grace that spoke volumes about his character. Not once did he surrender to his circumstances; not a single moment did he let his smile fade.

Through it all, Joon defied the odds. He returned to school, rediscovered the gym, and embraced life's joys with a fighting spirit.

He faced setbacks that would have tested even the strongest among us. In the last few months, the cancer grew back quickly. But he remained unwavering, unyielding, and, above all, an emblem of resilience.

On the 16th of August, around 1:15 am, Joon left this world peacefully, cocooned in the embrace of his loving parents, devoted brother Andrew, and caring sister Nelly. His closest friends, a reflection of his cherished connections, were by his side as well. Even in these last moments, Joon's determination was undeniable. He held on, fighting for an extra day, ensuring that each friend and family member could say their final farewell.
