On January 6, 2014, Joanna Leshenko of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 92.
Left to cherish fond memories are her children, Jim (Pat) Leshenko, Julia (Art) Ratke, Jean (Struan) Vaughan, Judy (Terry) Elder; as well as her grandchildren, Laura, Corina (James), Dallas (Sandi), Paul (Leslie), Chris, Lindsay, Keristan (Adrian), Cailin (Johnny), Christina, Logan; great-grandchildren, Troy, Rachel, Meghan, Andrew, Justice, Xandrea, Madison, Rylee and McKenzie. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. Joanna was predeceased by her husband, Albert John in August 2000 and her best friend and companion, Caseydog in April 2010.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 10:30 am (viewing one hour prior to service) at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 - 34 Avenue, Edmonton. Interment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Edmonton or to a charity of your choice.
