It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Jerry at the age of 83. Beloved husband, father and grandfather; he passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jerry is lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 58 years, Ksenia (Kass); daughter Shirley (Dave) Cammack; son Kim (Denise); grandchildren Rachelle (Richard) Cote, David Cammack lll, Thomas Kissel, Matthew Kissel and Andrew Kissel; brother Ed (Gladys); and sister Elsie (Gus) Jautz. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Anastasia; brothers Walter, Tony and Mike; and sister Jean Wall.
Jerry was born in Vegreville, AB and was raised on a farm north of Lavoy, AB. Following his marriage to Kass in 1954, they lived in Edmonton for the remainder of his life, and there they lovingly raised their children. He became very skilled rebuilding and restoring collectables. Jerry restored many items, perhaps his most memorable was his Model A Ford. Above all, he treasured time with family and friends throughout his life.

Prayer Service on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7007-109 Street, Edmonton where the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with the Basilian Fathers officiating. Interment to follow at Westlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations in memory of Jerry may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
