Helen Elizabeth Levine

It is with great sadness and loss that we announce the passing of Helen Levine, our dear wife, mother, grandmother and friend on September 2nd, 2021 at the age of 81.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband Avron, children Sandra (Peter) and Brian, grandchildren Kate, Paul and Shane, niece Lori, grandniece Reegan, and nephew Gregory.

She was predeceased by her parents John and Anna, her brother Edward and her sister Joanna.

She was blessed to have so many dear friends who enriched her life with good times and great memories. In her prime she was a fantastic cook, baker and, above all, shopper.

Her family, especially her grandchildren, were her pride and joy and she didn’t hesitate to share with everyone she met how proud and happy she was to have them in her life.

Forever a caregiver, family was everything to her and even in declining health she never stopped being concerned that we were OK.

The family is grateful for the wonderful care Helen received at the Grey Nuns Dialysis Unit. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Alberta Cancer Foundation in her honor.

At Helen’s request, no memorial service will be held.
