David Taylor

Dave at the age of 73, passed away peacefully on October 1st after many years of battling Parkinson’s.

Dave was born in Meadow Lake, SK, and grew up in Alberta. After high school Dave was a ranch hand in Bragg Creek which led him into a lifelong passion and career in forestry.

Dave was predeceased by his parents Calvin and Stella Taylor. Dave is lovingly remembered by his wife Suzanne; his sons Daniel (Kaylee), Shane (Diana), Chad (Ashley) and grandchildren Kayden, Georgia and Lennyn. Sister Lynda (Ashley) as well as numerous loving relatives and friends.

Dave lived life to the fullest spending time with family and friends. Some of his hobbies included tinkering on various projects, enjoying time at the cabin, travelling, spending time in the bush and always singing a tune with a pocket full of candy.

Dave was a great friend and mentor to many.

He will be sadly missed but forever in our hearts and memories.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, October 12th, 12:00pm at Hainstock’s Funeral Home 9810 34 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB in the Reception room.
