Cheryl was born 4 June, 1952 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to Leo and Bertha Maisonneuve, the eldest of four sisters. She grew up on a homestead in Whitemud, Alberta, attending school at Guy and Valleyview, where she graduated from high school in 1970.
Cheryl became an RN in 1982, and was an active nurse at the ICU at the University of Alberta Hospital until her retirement in 2015.
Cheryl is predeceased by her parents Bertha and Leo and sister Judy. She is survived by her sons Robert James, Christopher James (Joanne), grandchildren Tristan and Avery James; sister Lucy Savill (Chris), nephew Damon Savill and niece Ashely McClure (Desmond), and sister Lynn Gaydosh (Dave) and nephews Jonathan and Linden, and nieces Alison Finch (Levi) and Erin.
Cheryl's Celebration of Life will be held at Hainstock's Funeral Home and Crematorium, 9810 - 34 Avenue, Edmonton on June 29th at 10AM.
