On Sunday, November 26, 2023, August Salvador, born in Valvasone, Italy, passed away at the age of 87 years in Edmonton, Alberta.
August is survived by his loving family: wife, Joan; son, Richard (Heather Bzdell); daughter, Kerri (Eugene) Dumont; grandchildren, Ashley Salvador (Travis Fong), Christopher (Tatiana) Dumont, Lauren Dumont (Finley Bell); and sister, Teresa Degan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
August is predeceased by his father, Ermenegildo, and mother, Maria (Chivilo); and by his brothers, Giuseppe (Giovanna) and Angelo (Rina).
As per August's wishes, a private ceremony will be held with immediate family.
