Mary was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene in Guthrie, OK. She worked as a lunch lady for Sunset Elementary in Edmond, OK.
Mary loved her family and would fight tooth and nail if anyone tried to mess with any of them. She was not a good driver. She once drove into the garage door; she believed it should have opened for her. She also loved to cook for everyone, and they all loved her cooking. She would also sometimes sing with the love of her life on stage at church, and she enjoyed bowling with him, her family, and friends.
Mary loved dogs but hated cats. Every dog that came through her door, whether they liked people or not, loved her before they left. She would win them over by spoiling them rotten. She loved her grandkids, as well as all the great and great-great grandkids. Her face would just light up whenever they came to see her- that was her favorite part of the week.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Earl, Harold, Marvin, Pearl, and Marg; her beloved husband, Stan; her children: Debbie Birdwell, Cindy Kemp, and Maurice Cummins; and her beloved dog, Baby Cummins. She is survived by her children: Dennis (Judy) Cash of Edmond, OK; Brenda Deal of Ravia, OK; Donnie (Billie) Cummins of Amarillo, TX; Joyce (Pete) Conaway of Edmond, OK; Jo (Ken) Ledford of Springhill, KS; Rhonda (Tim) Flowers of Amarillo, TX; and Kevin (Deanna) Cummins of Edmond, OK; and numerous grandchildren, great, great-great grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends.
