He was a 1987 graduate of Edmond Memorial High School, attended the University of Oklahoma, and completed his Doctor of Chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas, TX.

He was President of his pledge class of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and passionate about Oklahoma University Football. Jimmy served in the United States Marine Corps and fought in the Operation Desert Storm War from 1990 – 1991. His courage and sacrifice in the military was highly respected and appreciated by all.
Jimmy’s charming personality and charisma were contagious and he quickly endeared himself to anybody he met. He was quick witted, silver tongued, and highly intelligent. He was a force to be reckoned with and will be terribly missed by so many who loved and were loved by him. Jimmy’s most treasured days were spent in his “Popo” tear-drop trailer traveling around the country and fly fishing with his best friends and brothers.
