Herbert dedicated his life to his family. He was an Airline mechanic in the Air Force then at United Airlines for over 30 years. He was known for his bad dad jokes and his kind heart. Everyone who ever met him were instantly his friend. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone. He was generous and always had a snarky remark, he could joke with you like no one else and he always had a smile on his face. He was a proud American and Veteran.
He is survived by his 4 children, Son, John D Wootten, wife TeriAnn Wootten of Horseshoe Bay, TX, Daughter, Kimberly K Hawk, husband Jeffery L Hawk of Edmond, OK, Son Herbert Zackery Wootten of Augusta, Maine, Granddaughters, Kalia K Brown, Edmond, OK and Taylor Shea Johnson, husband Andrew Johnson, Horseshoe Bay, TX, Great Grandchildren, Aria, Axel and Anakin Johnson, his sisters Patsey Lou Pilgreen, Grants Pass, Oregon and Charlotte (Cookie) Foust, Seattle, Washington and countless nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory and the lessons he taught us.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 5th from 4-8pm, at Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Services will be held on Wednesday, November 6th at 10am, at Baggerley Funeral Home followed by a Military Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, then reception at Baggerley Funeral Home following the burial.
