He was born July 14, 1945 in Glendale, CA to Mary Lou and Richard R. Daniel. He was a devoted, loving husband for 39 years, a wonderful father of 3, and grandfather (papa) of 6.
Dave graduated from OSU in 1968 and attained an MBA from Pepperdine University. After graduating from OSU, He was a Captain in the Army, serving in Vietnam and Hawaii. He and his wife, Judy Brown Daniel, were married in Hawaii on January 29, 1971. He has been in the banking industry for most of his adult life, working at Citizens Bank of Edmond for the last 9 years. He was a sports enthusiast and loved OSU sports and the new OKC Thunder. Dave was preceded in death by his father, Dick Daniel. He is survived by his loving wife Judy; sons, Matt (Mandie Bamborough) and Mark; his princess (daughter) Katie; and his wonderful mother, Mary Lou. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Susan Sullivan of Edmond and Diane Adams (Ed) of Poteau; mother-in-law, Marjory Brown-Britt of Pocahontas, IL and numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Baggerley Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 20th at 11 AM. The family will be welcoming guests beginning at 10 AM.
