Betty Lee Wilson passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was born April 22, 1932, in Hardtner, Kansas, to Edward and Nora Naasz. She was raised in Medicine Lodge and Lake City, Kansas area and graduated high school from Lake City, Kansas. While in school, she met Hugh Harold Wilson and later they got married and soon started a family.
For many years, Betty worked for several restaurants as a bookkeeper and handled their accounting. She later went to work at IBC Bank, where she retired. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Betty’s favorite moments in life were spending it making memories with her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading books when family and friends were busy. Betty will be dearly missed by her son, family and friends.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Harold Wilson and her parents Edward and Nora Naasz.
She is survived by her son, Gregory Wilson, of Arcadia, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Charles H. Wilson and wife Cinda of Stevens, Pennsylvania, Sarah Bradford and husband Chuck of Saucier, Mississippi; her great-grandchildren, Charles H. Wilson, Jr., Olivia Wilson, Cassady Bradford, and Cameron Bradford; her brothers, Ed Naasz and Donna of Wichita, Kansas and John Naasz of Texas; sister, Margaret Gliesch of Holiday, North Dakota; her brother-in-law Chuck Swonger of Sayer, Kansas; her sister-in-law Jackie Naasz of Sperman, Kansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Graveside service for Betty Wilson will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Highland Cemetery in Medicine Lodge, Kansas.
