Betty Lee Skinner, 89, went home to her heavenly reward on January 26, 2016. Betty was born October 18, 1926 in Edmond, Oklahoma to loving parents Benjamin Bare and Lula Rogers. A long time residence of Ponca City, Oklahoma, she attended Arcadia Schools.
Betty worked in the business world as a grocery clerk and hardware business clerk. She enjoyed her social activities, traveling, hobbies, and was a big supporter of the American Legion and VFW. She was a loving mother to Ronny Doughty of Poulsbo, Washington, Connie Overall of Stanford, Florida, and Billy Doughty of Edmond, Oklahoma. Preceding her in death were 3 sisters; Myrle Thompson, Faye Danials, Jessie Schibbelhut and a brother, Dee Bare. She was a proud grandmother to 3 grandkids and 4 great grandkids.
