Anna attending and graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City and soon after married Edward Knight on February 22, 1953. They had two loving sons Richard Paul Knight and Mark Edward Knight. Anna and Edward were married for Fifty years until his passing in 2003.
One of Anna’s favorite pastimes were spending time with her family, especially Richard and Mark. Anna was a kind and generous soul. She loved to cook and that was one of the main things that Anna’s loved ones learned from her. Her favorite color was blue and she loved laughing at silly animals and good jokes. Her favorite music was country and some of her favorite artists included Eddie Arnold and Garth Brooks. Anna was lifelong member of the Billy Hooton Memorial Methodist Church in Oklahoma City, OK.
Anna is preceded in death by her husband Ed Knight, two Sons Richard and Mark Knight, parents, Oscar and Thelma Kimball, and brother Herbert Lee Kimball.
Anna is survived by her brother Albert Lowell Kimball and wife Bernice of Choctaw, OK, sister Sharon Sue Ellis and husband Bob of Clifton, TX; granddaughter Anna Burdett and husband Tom and their two children, Gavin Burdett and Elle Burdett, grandson David Knight and wife Blair Knight and their two children, Cameron Knight and Landon Knight and granddaughter Megan Knight. Anna is also survived by three nieces and four nephews.
Come-and-go visitation will occur Friday, December 29, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery Historic Chapel, 13400 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131. A funeral service for Anna will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery Historic Chapel. A burial will occur Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:45 AM at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, 7500 W Britton Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
