Abby Jean Strickland

Abigail “Abby” Jean Strickland, 20, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed from this life on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Services have been entrusted to the care of Baggerley Funeral Home and a graveside service for Abby will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Independence Cemetery, 118518 EW 8 RD, Turpin, Oklahoma. A memorial service will occur Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway, Edmond, Oklahoma.

Abby was born on February 23, 2002 in Galveston, Texas to Socorro Perez and Travis Dean. She graduated from Enid High School and then her passion to be a nurse became her drive, she got her CNA and was continuing her education in the nursing field at the College of Southern Nevada while residing with her mother, Zach and Jordyn in Las Vegas Nevada.

Abby was known for her kind and caring heart. She was such a sweet soul that would always make time for others and make sure they knew how much she cared for them. Abby loved to laugh whether it was with her family or at them especially how her dad and Pa has certain vocabulary that made her burst into laughter. Some of the hobbies she had included listening to music preferably anything that had a good beat, going to the gym, lounging by the pool, and also relaxing with friends.

She had a witty personality and a warm smile that made everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her love was an unconditional love and it was her priority to make sure everyone around her knew that she loved them with her whole heart. Abby will be dearly missed by many but the love she gave to each individual will live on in their hearts forever.

Abby lives on through her parents Socorro Perez and Travis Dean; sis Trista Kilian and husband Cameron; two nieces and two nephews; fur babies Nala and Gizmo; as well as a loving family and many loyal friends.
