Bobby James Shettles

Bobby James Shettles, age 72, died Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was a member of Ecru Baptist Church, retired from Pontotoc Springs and has served in the U.S. Army.

Services will be at 3 PM Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Browning Funeral Home Chapel in Ecru with Rev. Roger Hunter officiating; burial will follow in the Ecru Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home in Ecru is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his two daughters: Kim Bagwell (Jeff) and Carla Thomas all of Pontotoc, MS; two sisters: Dottie Cobb (Steve) of Ecru and Sandra McClure (Tommy) of Ingomar, MS; one brother: Billy Shettles of Ecru; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: James Otis Shettles and Etoyle Robbins Shettles; his wife: Jimmie Nell Craig Shettles.

Pallbearers will be: Jeff Bagwell, Chad Holcomb, Kevin Cobb, Keith Cobb, Steve Cobb, Jason Thomas and Tommy McClure.

Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 PM and Tuesday from 1 to 3 PM at the funeral home.
