Rose was born on July 24, 1942 in Binghamton, NY to the parents of Mary (Hurchlo) Phillips and Raymond Spangenburg. She was the loving wife of Edward Decker Sr. with whom she shared 26 years.
Rose worked at Skytop and Melograno’s Pine Hollow. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and baking for all her friends.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents; and her two sisters Patti and Nancy.
Rose is survived by her husband Edward Decker Sr., of Canadensis, PA; her sister, Barbara (Babsy); her step son, Edward Decker Jr. and wife Judy; 7 other step children; twenty-four step grandchildren; nineteen step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono, Doctor Divine and her staff in the ICU unit for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
