Roland T. Frace, 86, of Moore Township, passed away on September 11, 2018. Born February 15, 1932, he was married to Marjorie (Osmun) Frace for 66 years. He was the son of the late Theodore and Eva (Bartholomew) Frace of Easton. Roland was a graduate of Wilson High School class of 1950 and Churchman’s Business School. He was employed by Binney & Smith, Kepler’s Coal Company, Chipman Knitting Mill, and Patterson-Kelly of East Stroudsburg for 33 years before retiring in 1987.
In addition to his wife, Marjorie, Roland is survived by sisters Elaine O’Brien of Easton, and Karen Frye of Warminster, uncles Robert, Eddie, and Eugene Bartholomew, and aunt Margaret Bartholomew, all of Kutztown. He was loving father to three daughters, Linda DeIvernois, wife of Douglas, of Sequim, WA, Pamela Longacre, wife of Charles, of Danielsville, PA, and Sheila, companion of Glenn Heller, of Falls Church, VA. Roland was grandfather of seven grandsons with whom he enjoyed spending many hours in the outdoors, especially hunting, four great-grandsons, and one great-granddaughter. He was a Life Member of Point Phillips Rod and Gun Club and the National Rifle Association. Roland was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Commandry, and Shrine, Order of Odd Fellows, 50 year member and Past District Deputy Grand Master of Monroe County.
A viewing will be held at Arndt’s Lutheran Church, 1851 Arndt Road,
Easton, PA on Monday September 17 at 10 am. Services will be at the Church at 11:00 am, and internment at Arndt’s Cemetary immediately following. A luncheon will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arndt’s Lutheran Church.
