Robert Louis Fowler, age, 84, of Chattanooga died Friday August 26, 2011 in a local hospital. He was born June 24, 1927 in Chattanooga the son of the late Archie and Louise Fowler and was preceded in death by his wife Ann Fowler, son Bobby Fowler; sisters Thelma Reed and Barbara Robinson; brother Fred Fowler.
Mr. Fowler was a World War II Navy veteran and was a member of Tiftonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Robin and Sidney Cloud; son and daughter-in-law Tim and Gloria Fowler; grandson Colton Cloud; sisters Evelyn Hawkins and Pat Palnau; brother Jimmy Oakley and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 pm in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Brannon and Milford White officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakewood West Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday evening.
