Mr. Cofer, a Christian and man of faith. He was an avid NASCAR fan, Republican, and cheered on the Braves. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Gail Robinson Cofer and sister, Mary Anne Hampton, and parents Clay and Anna Ruth Cofer.
Survivors include two sons, Robin D. Cofer and wife Kathryn of Huntsville, AL and Roger D. Cofer and Rhonda of Chattanooga; sisters Tommy Boltz and Jerry Carter, both of Ringgold, GA; 4 grandchildren, Grant M. Cofer, Kevin D. Cofer, SPC Jake T. Cofer, and Isabella Cofer; and one great granddaughter, Berkley Cofer.
The funeral will be 11:30, Thursday, 29 October 2020, at the Chattanooga Funeral home, East. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 28 October from 4:00 – 6:00 PM and 29 October from 9:00 – 1130 A.M.
