He was born in Dunlap, TN., on November 15, 1966 to the late Rudolph Eugene and Mary Sue Proctor. He attended Fort Oglethorpe High School Class of 1984. He was a member and deacon of East Ridge Baptist Church. Rickey worked as Inventory Control Specialist with Shaw Industries for 30 years. He was an avid University of Tennessee fan and loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents and a half-sister, Debbie Beverly.
Left behind to cherish Rickey’s memory are his children, Kristina Elliott (Tyler Murphy) and Auguste Proctor (Chloe Nance), former spouse, Kathy Proctor, sister, Cynthia Proctor, and 2 half-brothers, Eugene and Charles Stanley Proctor and his special fur baby, Oscar.
A Reception Celebrating Rickey’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Sunday January 21, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
