He served his country with pride in the United States Marine Corps. Dick retired from Rock Tenn Corporation as a diesel mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 15 years Sue Proctor, his parents Wayne and Josephine Proctor, and a brother Bob Proctor.
Left behind to cherish his life are his son Mike (Jeanie) Proctor, grandson Gavin Proctor, step-children Amy Cavett and Scott Pierce, a brother John Proctor, sister Sue Hess, his caregiver and sister-in-law Alice Zarate, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Dick’s Life will be held graveside in the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Tuesday March 22, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Wayland Stewart officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the USMC Honor Guard and the American Legion Post 95.
Donations can be made to any Catholic Charities of your choice in his memory.
