Joy was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a member of Ridgedale Church of Christ, a graduate of Kirkman High School and a devoted mother, daughter and sister.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Dill and nephew, Phillip Campbell.
Surviving are her son, Clinton Thomas; mother, Estelle Dill; brother, Darrell (Susie) Campbell of Soddy Daisy; twin sister, Jan (Rocky) Owen of Columbia, SC; nieces, LeAnn Mauldin and Misty Crocker; and nephews, Josh and Shane Newman.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 5 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the funeral home with Ministers Marlin Graves and Ken Willis officiating.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens West.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Orange Grove Center, 615 Derby Street
